Our 2024 Fourth Quarter MVB is Robert ‘RJ’ McCarey!

Meet RJ

RJ has been in the business for 18 years. He graduated from ISU with an undergraduate degree in civil engineering and worked at Maytag in Newton for 19 years. When Maytag moved the plant out of Newton, he decided to go into financial services. Over the course of the next couple years, RJ started assisting seniors with their health care options. He and his wife owned 2 pharmacies at the time, and she saw that many seniors were being taken advantage of and asked him to start helping them. The business grew from there.

What’s the key to his success?

RJ attributes a lot of his success to the amazing team of hardworking people that help him and feels it’s about just putting in the time and the hard work.

“I always do right by the client, whether that means a sale or not.” Having a love for moose, RJ always says, “Make the moose of your day.”
